The week before Christmas we went to our local zoo to see the Christmas light display they do every year. There were lights everywhere! They also had a train ride and carousel for kids to ride for free. The line for the train was way to long, but we did take Dean on his first carousel ride. We sat on the bench of course.

that merrigoround picture - does that ever bring back memories... I used to spend a couple of weeks every summer visiting my paternal grandparents and remember many trips to the zoo ending in the wonderful ride on the merrygoround. I loved the horses and we would try to catch the ring (or was that the SF zoo?) Thanks for sharing.
