The Funny Farm

I got quite a kick out of Dean's gifts this year. Most of the toys he received were around a farm theme, though no one conspired for it to be so. He received a farm lego set, a barn, a baby animal book, a cow xylophone, and Curious George riding a vibrating cow.
Dean also received some other gifts, like clothes, for which we were grateful.
We spent Christmas down in San Diego visiting my family. It was a lot of fun, but I think we're going to have to start inviting people to our house until Dean and any possible siblings get a little older. It's hard to keep babies out of things when you're not at your own house.

I love the pictures. It's fun to see his new toys already in use and the new clothes too. He's such a big boy!

It will be fun to visit now and then, as Lucas' grandparents used to do, on Christmas morning and see the LDC juniors developing their own traditions and fun time around their Christmas tree. And sometimes it will be fun to have you guys up here. I don't remember too many Christmas trips to Idaho - I remember the train one, but mostly they came to California (maybe every four or five years)which is as it should be. Christmas trees are for the kids in their own house.
